I’m often asked how I got into art. I usually answer in the same way— someone lied to me. An odd response but hear me out.

As a kid I drew the same stick figures, those prehistoric cave markings, that all kids draw; nothing to set mine apart. Until at some point I was convinced by the lies that I was, “good at art.” And, well, I believed them.

Hi, I’m Alex am an oil painter. Being born and raised in alone the Wasatch front gave me deep love for nature and human connection. I love capturing moments that feel like home. reathtaking landscapes, portraits and figurative artwork. I believe that as humans we need to find moments and ways to connect to each other and the world around us.
