Last summer the brakes in our van went out while driving through Banff. While not the plan for the end of our trip, it allowed me to spend an extra week in Banff, all by myself, while my wife flew home to make it to a wedding. I skated around town and went on random hikes. This is a painting from one of those random hikes with a beautiful view of Mount Rundle.
