We spent two days backpacking to Reeds Lake in Hatcher Pass, AK. After a long hike in, I spent some time painting this scene. Just as I was wrapping up, it started to rain. It rained all night and into the next morning, so the painting was exposed to elements on the hike out. I decided to leave the weathered look.
