This is just off the side of the highway in Alaska. I swear the whole state is a national park. We came across Thompson Pass on our way to Valdez and decided to stay a while. We camped overnight and I spent the next morning painting. The mosquitoes were out in full force, so even though I did my best to cover every inch of skin, I still did some good blood donation. Well worth the bites.
